Why Sales Tracking is So Important

I've recorded a video about tracking sales and the entire sales process.

It was all prompted by my amazing clients!

You see when they first come to me I usually here, I need more appointments in front of my sales people.   I ask how they came to that conclusion.

And 90% of the time it's a gut feel.

They never saw the stats!

Then we start calling and giving them tons of information on where leads are in the pipe, conversions at each stage.

This information helps to make INFORMED decisions, based on REAL data.  Not a gut feeling or a guess.

One of my clients was convince their sales person was doing a FANTASTIC job (that was her exact word).

After a month of tracking Leads to Calls to Appointment Set to Sale (all steps in the funnel).  Turns out the sales person's close rate was 14%.  FOURTEEN!  Astonishing 

This client was paying a ton of money for each APPOINTMENT booked only to have 86% of them not buy anything.

Not FANTASTIC

... Data tells the story...

... Data doesn't have a bias...

And without measurement there is no improvement.
