According to Dan Kennedy, “If you’re not pissing off at least one person a day, you’re not doing enough in your marketing.” And you know what? That’s perfectly fine with me. If there are individuals who think I’m overzealous in following up after they’ve requested information, maybe they’re simply not the right fit for my business. Because building a successful enterprise requires more than passively waiting for others to act, it demands taking proactive measures and seizing opportunities.

For those who have expressed interest, our aim is to provide them with information and services that ignite genuine excitement about collaborating with you and scheduling discovery calls.
Presently, it takes approximately ten attempts, which include ten phone calls and ten text messages, to successfully engage with someone and secure an appointment. The success rate of outbound call services, dependent upon the targeting efforts of you or your marketing agency, can reach an impressive 70% answer rate. Typically, the answer rate hovers around 50%, and that is acceptable.

However, when leads come in during regular call times, which are between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM, it’s crucial to act swiftly. Responding within 20 minutes is key, as beyond this timeframe, they venture elsewhere and become colder leads. Every passing minute after that 20-minute mark decreases the chances of connecting with them. So, when those leads come in, it’s vital to promptly respond, not only through text or email but also by making an outbound phone call—the very reason they provided their phone number.
I can’t stress enough how frustrating it is to fill out forms on various websites and never receive a return call. That’s why it’s vital to strike while the iron is hot—when the leads are primed and ready. It is your responsibility to secure them for that discovery call. Within the first 20 minutes, seize the moment and give them a call to book their appointment.
